Mount Etna, Sicily.

Mount Etna is located on the island of Sicily in Italy. It is interesting to know that Etna volcano is a self-formed volcano. 600 thousand years ago in its place was the bay. Today, Etna Volcano is the largest active volcano in Europe and thus arouses interest among travellers. Mount Etna is inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.


Jewish Quarter, Krakow.

Jewish Quarter, is a historic place, which keeps secrets of the Second World War. But I’m not going to talk about the War, I just want to share with you information, which I found on the streets of Krakow. There are fond memories, and there are sad memories, for the Jewish people, the memory of the Jewish Quarter of Krakow relates to sad memories.

The Maya civilization.

Many times I have heard about the Mayan civilization, their calendar, their progress in mathematics and astronomy, but I have never thought about their history. Where they lived? What they did? And what happened with them?

Arriving in Mexico, I had the opportunity not only to learn a little more about the Maya, but also to see the results of their work, which, by the way, very impressive. The stone city built in the middle of jungle, gone underground and re-excavated in the 19th century, add mystery and enigma to those places.
